A RARE & STUNNING DUFAYCOLOR OF THE ROYAL CARRIAGE WITHIN WHICH ARE KING GEORGE VI & QUEEN ELIZABETH, ON THE OCCASION OF THEIR SILVER WEDDING IN 1948. This dufaycolor is mounted between two sheets of glass and is bound on all four sides with black tape. This image is from an archive of dufaycolors and glass slides that belonged to Sir Geoffrey Church Ramsden (1893 - 1990) who was an Indian Civil Servant in the last years of the British Raj. See scan for quality, some staining which can be seen, may possibly disappear if cleaned with care. Scanning dufaycolors precisely is difficult, the original is a bit more colourful.
